For many girls, periods mean silence, missed school, and lost confidence. But with your support, Kenya Keys is rewriting that story one of dignity, education, and empowerment.
This Menstrual Hygiene Day, we celebrate the courage to speak up, show up, and rise.
Kenya Keys partnered with other organizations to make the activity a success.

Hope Springs, the mentorship arm of Kenya Keys, created more than just a gathering. It built a safe, informal space where mentorship felt like family.
Ordinary meal preparation became the start of something extraordinary. As pots simmered students opened up sharing the struggles threatening their futures: school dropouts, teen pregnancies, and lost hope.
This unique outreach in Magale and Bahakwenu proved the power of culture and conversation. Together, we helped students rediscover their worth, their voice—and the strength to dream again.
Hope Springs brought light where it was fading guiding young souls back to their dreams.
What made it even more powerful? The mentors and facilitators were once in their shoes—products of the same communities, carrying stories that mirrored those of the students they guided.
They didn’t just understand the challenges—they had lived them.
We are so grateful to our sponsors for helping us in the cause!
One students story you don’t want to miss…

Thank you to Nelson and The Kenya Keys for the compilation of this work!
A wonderful day at Magale school handing out much needed supplies!!
We are so excited to share a video update of what is happening at Kenya Keys in Taru! What a wonderful video to share all the things that are helping the progress of education in Kenya. So grateful to our team member Nelson for this documentary!
Mwanaisha, the Kenya Keys Staff Member and Librarian, said the library was packed over break. The students self-organized themselves into shifts throughout the day, to allow as many students as possible to have access to use the library. Such a touching example of their community-first mentality.
We love Taru! And we appreciate so much each donor for sending this books to help support these students!
